text Hiding Behind Fighting ISIS U.S. Intends to Seize Syria’s Oil Anna Jaunger via jill, Tuesday, Aug 29 2017, 10:04pm
As the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) progresses towards Deir Ezzor, the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), mostly made up of Syrian Kurds, began to prepare for a military offensive on the Syrian city in order to prevent legitimate government forces from re-establishing military control over their oil rich-territory.

Truth exists, another word for truth is reality and it is apprehendable but not by the senses or empirical observation/measurement because the REAL TRUTH is unutterable, beyond language and culture, beyond the five senses; do you believe, because if you do you live in ignorance, there is no room for belief or faith in Truth, it is self-evident. donaldtrump6.jpg image How Faith-based Thinking Helps Facilitate Alt-right, Racist, Illiberal, Anti-democratic Politics Religion Dispatches via darcy, Monday, Aug 28 2017, 8:17am
The inspiration for Hitler’s Monsters was, like Living With Hitler, in some respects contemporary. I began researching Living With Hitler in the early 2000s, in the wake of 9/11 and the Iraq War, when many American (and British) liberals appeared to be making cynical concessions to the forces of nationalism, imperialism, and autocracy. I wanted to understand why liberal-minded German Democrats appeared to make even more problematic concessions in the 1930s and 40s. Hitler’s Monsters was inspired, similarly, by contemporary questions: namely, in what way did supernatural, conspiratorial, faith-based thinking and an aversion to science and reason help facilitate “alt-right,” racist, illiberal, anti-democratic politics? Afghanistan is now the world's largest supplier of opium/heroin, no surprise. If readers care to join the dots with a little research, it would become apparent that wherever the CIA/Pentagon wage their illegal wars over an extended period, that area/region becomes a HUGE source of heroin (and cocaine from Latin America). Trump and his felon friend image Joe Arpaio's Pardon by Trump Signals End of Justice System jan, Saturday, Aug 26 2017, 10:53pm
Attorney General, Jeff Sessions MUST be forced to resign after allowing Trump to interfere with the independent US legal/Justice system. Trump's unilateral pardon is an outrage as Arpaio's crimes are widely known and legally condemned, however, a neutered AG has failed his nation and his position. (story and 2 images)

centralbankdip.jpg image How Central Banks are Creating the Next Financial Crisis Jack Rasmus via jane, Saturday, Aug 26 2017, 10:15pm
As central bankers, finance ministers, and government policy makers head off to their annual gathering at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, this August, 24-26, 2017, the key topic is whether the leading central banks in North America and Europe will continue to raise interest rates this year; another topic high on the agenda is when the three major central banks – the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank and Bank of England – might begin to sell off their combined US$9.8 trillion dollar balance sheets that they accumulated since the 2008-09 banking crisis. Sebastian Gorka, centralist and fascist image The Last of the Bannonites, Sebastian Gorka, ousted from White House nell, Friday, Aug 25 2017, 11:55pm
The last of the scorched earth Bannonite ideologues has been forced to resign from his position as deputy assistant to the president, make no mistake. His forced departure leaves Trump castrated and completely under the control of unrepresentative deep state, perpetual war forces -- prospects for the WORLD look grim, as it is widely known that deep state forces pursue war and more war, though their record in this area is clearly catastrophic, but such is the condition of avaricious criminal psychopaths. text The CIA and Me (Or How I Learned Not to Love Big Brother) Dr Al McCoy via shirl, Friday, Aug 25 2017, 9:58am
In the wake of the 2001 terrorist attacks, Washington pursued its elusive enemies across the landscapes of Asia and Africa, thanks in part to a massive expansion of its intelligence infrastructure, particularly of the emerging technologies for digital surveillance, agile drones, and biometric identification. In 2010, almost a decade into this secret war with its voracious appetite for information, the Washington Post reported that the national security state had swelled into a “fourth branch” of the federal government -- with 854,000 vetted officials, 263 security organizations, and over 3,000 intelligence units, issuing 50,000 special reports every year.

text ‘Sticks and Stones ...’ refo, Friday, Aug 25 2017, 12:14am
With the world teetering on nuclear warfare it is astonishing that the American mass media is pursuing freedom of speech issues relating to the overt racism of that nation. Racism in America is a given, the world is aware of it, which other nation would ignore the crimes of Iraq, Libya, Syria, which are parallel to Hitler’s Nazi atrocities -- “we came, we saw, he died,” (Clinton) or how about killing over 500,000 Iraqi infants and young children is worth the STOLEN barrel of oil (Albright) -- at least 1.5 million INNOCENT ‘Iraqi’ (Arab) men, women and children murdered by the US and tens of millions displaced, and you doodle dreamboats are concerned about petty “statue” racism in the South -- get a fuckin’ grip for Christ’s sake.

text The Privatization of Water: Nestlé Denies that Water is a Fundamental Human Right Kevin Samson via jane, Wednesday, Aug 23 2017, 11:21pm
The current Chairman and former CEO of Nestlé, the largest producer of food products in the world, believes that the answer to global water issues is privatization. This statement is on record from the wonderful company that has peddled junk food in the Amazon, has invested money to thwart the labeling of GMO-filled products, has a disturbing health and ethics record for its infant formula, and has deployed a cyber army to monitor Internet criticism and shape discussions in social media.

trumple.jpg image USA -- International Laughing Stock for Very Valid Reasons darcy, Wednesday, Aug 23 2017, 10:24pm
Nations around the globe watch the ineptitudes and antics of the USA and its completely incompetent, pathologically flawed leader, Donald Trump with dismay, shock, amusement and satisfaction -- a strange mix; however, many have missed the critical symptoms of a state unravelling, which the US Navy signals to the world and what applies to one section of the US military applies to the others, though with varying degrees of incompetence and disarray. text Infantilism and the Fate of the World claire, Tuesday, Aug 22 2017, 11:55pm
As children we are taught and forced by circumstance to take RESPONSIBILITY for our lives, those that resist become pathological personalities, infants in adult bodies, displaying all the characteristics of infants, chucking tantrums and blaming others when things do not go their way; maturing adults must navigate new opposing forces as they develop as a matter of survival -- which forces are varied but for the sake of simplicity loosely characterised here into positive and negative or constructive and destructive. Those that succeed in assessing, balancing and learning lessons from all the forces and circumstances that confront them become mature successful adults.

Incompetent Buffoon image Trump: Dead Man Walking justin, Monday, Aug 21 2017, 1:14am
No matter which perspective you take, Trump is finished. Many informed analysts and commentators attribute his inglorious demise to the Washington swamp or deep state, however, they were simply the means by which Trump brought himself undone, perhaps the deep state realised that if they persisted in their orchestrated attacks/agenda to remove him from office, Trump would do the rest himself. And surely he has. (story and 1 image)

trumpontheattack.jpg image Nuclear Trigger-happy, Overt Fascist and Racist, "Trump Must Go!” des, Saturday, Aug 19 2017, 9:46pm
The Trump ‘administration’ -- if you could call it that -- has been unraveling faster than Trump is able to patch it together, the reason is not Steve Bannon, who proclaimed publicly that there was no military solution for North Korea, though Trump, guided by Washington swamp neocons, CIA and Pentagon hawks was happy to threaten the lives of everyone on the planet with a nuclear holocaust -- this is no exaggeration -- as China announced clearly that if the USA were to launch a pre-emptive strike on North Korea, China would intervene on NK’s behalf, which also includes Russia due to their mutual military alliance, and so the world was facing the real possibility of a nuclear holocaust due to the stupidity of the American population installing an inept sociopath into power with the executive powers to launch a nuclear war -- well done America! text US Mass Media Pulls Plug on Russiagate and Nuclear War Threats cyd, Saturday, Aug 19 2017, 2:42am
It is quite remarkable how quick the deep state-'owned' (CFR) American mass media distracts and moves focus from hyper-critical issues/stories. Take for instance the most critical story deserving of constant pursuit, Trump’s LUNATIC threats to engage in a nuclear war with North Korea, as if it was a backyard fight.

Goldman Sachs CEO, Lloyd 'scumbag' Blankfein, the quintessential Jewish Shylock image Goldman Sachs warns investors to expect government shutdown as Trump support tanks Bob Brigham via claire, Saturday, Aug 19 2017, 1:29am
As is widely known, the most powerful of the criminal mega-banks on Wall Street, G Sachs, which caused the global economy to collapse in 2008, is an inside player and so if it predicts a government shutdown, which it is able to control via its political puppets in Washington, it is worthy of note.
